The operating temperature range for rubber tracks is generally between -25°C and +55°C.

Chemicals, engine oil, and seawater salt will accelerate track aging; tracks should be cleaned after use in such environments.

Road surfaces with sharp protrusions (such as reinforcing bars or stones) can cause damage to rubber tracks.

Road curbs, ruts, or uneven surfaces can cause cracks in the tread pattern on the contact patch side of the track. If these cracks do not damage the steel cords, the track can continue to be used.

Gravel and gravel surfaces will cause premature wear on the rubber surface in contact with the load-bearing wheels, forming small cracks. In severe cases, water intrusion can cause the core iron to detach and the steel cords to break.
